In fact tripods as such are not allowed, but I do have a special 'Low profile tripod' which I made for such things (good in churches too), Never had any objections from anyone about using it anywhere!

In reality, it was very dark there, hence the need for long exposure, and the 'low profile tripod' which is also very handy in churches!
