I am very happy that you have enjoyed the picture. Maybe the fashion is different in America, but the delinquent youths here don't know which way to put on a baseball cap, and hence seem to get it backwards. That condition allows that taking of photos readily, and without the action of turning it round. They also don't seem to know how to stop their pants from falling down either...!!!!

I guess I need to hang around a high school/secondary school to see if there are new clothing styles among the delinquent crews; the ones you describe are rather dated here. I actually prefer seeing backwards hat to one obliquely worn over the temple; and with a flat brim: ugh! (I mold a curve into the brim of each new ballcap I get.)
And in regards to falling-off-the-butt "jailhouse" pants: give 'em a belt (pun intended) ...
