Yes Steve it is remote the last great wilderness The Fisherfield Forest we wher going to climbe A`Mhaighdean (The Maiden) its 9 miles in any direction to the nerest public road..Best wishes Alan.

Yes Doug we Had the Help of the head Stalker on this outing he took us down Fionn Loch to Carnmore Lodge in the Boat but we still had a six mile walk out to Kernsary after coming down from the hill. We had left the car at Kernsary the head stalkers house.Best wishes Alan.It was A`Mhaighdean (The Maiden) we where climbing the most remote munro in the Highlands.
