Every one needs a good wreck...
This is a wreck not far from Tromsø city center. A place to revisit many times. The weather changes, the light changes, the tide changes.
Wreck info; "Oimara" the boats real name has been "stranded" 'of shoreline for nearly 100 years. The ship was built in England and was first used as Russian freight skip. The ship had a oak hull and iron pail, which meant that the ship was exceptionally strong built. After the revolution in Russia the ship came with refugees from Murmansk to Tromsø who eventually settled here. And the ship was left on Tomasjordneset in ca.1917-1927 where it became a residence for cormorants in Tromsø.
