Lake Shasta
In northern California. Mini-CAT loaded for a trip to a small island in the lake. Photo by my son, who was also going to the island with a crew to repair some trails. The grey boat thing is a personnel mover (whatever it's called), WWII era.

Diane Putnam club has replied to Gudrun clubThey're usually based on and used from Amphibious Assault ships. They're quite often sold as Military Surplus goods and make good, reliable work-horses for all sorts of things.
Super shot, by the way!
