"Shaq" is retired basketball superstar Shaquille O'Neal. Unattractive label! I would have put his photo on it rather than a creepy cartoon that doesn't even look like him. He was notorious among his fans, teammates and the entire league for being a terrible free-throw shooter. Everyone would groan if he was up and he would jump around like an excited kid if he put one through the hoop.

AA240 Unusual signs.

, Gudrun, Ulrich John have particularly liked this photo

My girlfrind's sister's husband is a famous retired Spanish basket ball star.
I'll ask him if he has thought of something like this!

This sort of thing is very common in the US, but maybe not as much in Europe. Most athletes retire with tens of millions of dollars in investments, businesses and product endorsement contracts. Some don't. It kind of depends on whether the fans love him or don't like him. Shaq is beloved.

Oh, yes -- Shaq isn't hurting for money ... know you will believe me .. Orlando (where he played for several years) was just up the road from us.
Did we go? Nope ..
But, went to a minor league Ice Hockey game or two! That was fun !

I wouldn't have gone, either, since I'm not really a sports fan. I just happen to sort of pay attention to the players and the teams, an old habit because my dad would talk about sports if anything exciting was happening. I got a kick out of (again, "sort of") knowing what he was talking about.
