Empty (PiP)
This wing was empty even when Mental Health occupied the building. There were about 10 vacant rooms, kind of spooky. The building was originally a nursing home built in the 1960s, abandoned, then bought by the county for mental health treatment in the 1980s or 1990s.

It looks even spookier now!
Hard to imagine a building standing empty here for that long, they'd have pulled it down and built a larger one. Building sites are at a premium in our area. You have so much space in the States, it shows:-)

Haha - yes we do, especially west of the Mississippi River. Outside of big cities the land is much cheaper and in places like mine, where the economy will never be booming, there is NO pressure to sell or demolish anything.
