Hahaha - that song reminds me of my first year of college. Good one, Sylvain! Merci.

I used to love The Doors but I can't think I've played any of their albums in 30 years! I like this shot.

Thanks! I was slightly ignoring rock & roll in favor of blues and soul, but r&r was mostly what I heard on the radio. The Doors, Stones, The Who, Hendrix, Procol Harum, etc., were played at parties. By the late '60s/early '70s that was "stoner music." For some reason, I wasn't a stoner, but I certainly enjoyed parties! ;-o

I got most of my teenage 'rebellious' musical influences from my French school exchange partner who had 4 older brothers. So in 1972, aged 14, I got my first taste of R+B, soul, blues, etc and was entranced. My friends in France of my age were all into The Beatles, Stones, Hendrix, The Doors, etc., too. The French were about 5 years behind the times for some reason. My English comtemporaries were into T Rex, Slade, Bowie (RIP, and I agreed with their taste there) . On the whole I preferred the older stuff and still do.
