The black one is mine, the yellow one lives next door. They are sort-of-friends. They both have the same favorite spot under a bush. The one not sitting there just waits and stares, probably cursing under his breath in cat language.

From now until spring, mine will only go out to "take care of business." The rest of the time he will be curled in front of the heat, as he is right now.
