Pow Wow structure, collapsed

Pow Wow structure, collapsed
An old circular Pow-wow structure made of lodge pole pine timbers, collapsing into the field. Native Americans of all ages dance in the middle while drumming and singing is performed under the circular canopy. Oglala (Sioux) Nation Pow Wow, 2012, grand entry: www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9PVOMmgxpo. I attended one of these in Pine Ridge, South Dakota in the 1960s and had goosebumps the entire time. The one in the video is also at Pine Ridge.

Klamath Tribes of Southern Oregon, slide show: www.youtube.com/watch?v=vH_mn1FWreQ.
