Common Gorse, detail
A close up of part of a large Gorse shrub (Ulex europaeus) spine, seen on a local walk. These always look good with their bright sunny yellow petals. Since winter is approaching this plant is now finishing and the petals are turning brown making for nice blend of colours here along with the greens.

I am glad you managed to see this one Keith. One of your kind of photos for sure. That 70-200 zoom and its 105mm brother are very good for this type of shot. Very happy that you enjoyed it with this Bocca background.

I used to use both the lenses you mention Herb...........the 105mm macro was particularly good and I wish Olympus (or OM systems as they are now called) had one on offer!
