Red, red clouds!

Red, red clouds!
As unbelievable as it may sound -this shot is entirely natural. A grey day here in Altea today and as the sun goes down there is suddenly a blast of directional sun from the right, lighting up these clouds. As I later, ran around the block to catch the red sunset in its entirety, all I got was some moments of red glory marred by buildings. Ah well -enjoy!
ps notice the moon on here too.

Hi Herb

Very nice try. If you do not try things then you do not improve, or even get unusual pictures.
Is that the moon I can see at the top? It seems a little out of position for the date..

Best wishes
Peter

Hi Peter. Always good to see you here. I agree with your thoughts here and yes that really is the moon. The date is indeed correct and the exif time on the camera is 19.08 local time. Peter you have just alerted me to the fact that I had not adjusted me camera to the Spanish local time, (one hour in front of UK time) over here in Altea and so the local time was in fact 18.08 - I am looking towards south here, Benidorm to the right- SSW. A week or so later the moon was still well below the left horizon (NE) at this time. As said above, no extra edits, only name added.
thanks and best Wishes, Herb
ps I think I realised later on our three week holiday about my camera time and then adjusted it.
pps I have another pointing almost the same and from the same place and time here: www.ipernity.com/doc/1081863/46252322

Thank you Rosalyn. I have taken lots of full sunset (and sunrises) on this trip but this sky was quite different for me. Glad you like it.
