Horseshoe Falls, Llangollen
This is actually a weir of 140m in length, designed by Thomas Telford in 1808 to make a lake to feed the nearby Llangollen Canal. In the background we can see the surrounding beautiful countryside that abounds in this part of Wales.

I recall my one and only kayaking adventure was near here. It was OK, But I'm more of a firm ground under foot kind of guy and was pleased when we did the PIG and Myner's tracks and the Crib Goch - Snowdon horseshoe the next day!
