Rapeseed Splendour

Rapeseed Splendour
A trip to our East coast and Flamborough Head brings this delightful scene here in Springtime. In the distance can be seen the two Flamborough lighthouses, one now defunct.

Rosalyn Hilborne, , Amelia, Andy Rodker and 6 other people have particularly liked this photo

Thank you Doug. Yes the lighthouses were a must as much as the rapeseed.

Hi again Daniela. Yes yellow, not really my favourite colour but so striking when accompanied by rich dark blue skies. I do love these field at this time of year. We do not have them in North West England where I live though. This is from our East coast.

You know Andy, no matter how often we re-look at our photos here we always miss some comments. I find it difficult to loath this but when I was sneezing I could understand!

All over the field it's yellow in your country Herb. That's very nice. The view is so nice because it's growing on small hills, so it gives a very lovely slope...

Best wishes, Christien.

Thanks Christien and apologies for missing your comment of so long ago. Yes we have flat fields of yellow too but as you say, better for us if they are hills like this. Glad that you enjoyed this.
