You have seen part of this before but as I am waiting for a target to rise In the milky way that I found when I did the milky way panorama. I do not have a name for the nebula but know where it is on the milky way its one I have never see in any photo so it going to be a new look at some thing I have never seen close. A tiny red dot in the middle of the huge panorama below. The Running Chicken can be see as the second largest red nebula on the far right of the huge panorama. So what became just the" body" top left I went clockwise taking the whole of the Running Chicken Nebula as an extra 3 shot to get the whole of the Nebula. I still can NOT see it even though I am enjoying this years Shiraz I still cant see no chicken. none the less enjoy the fruits or a lot of night to get the total in all its detail. Last was a single shot ED80 and APSC ZWO as a single shot. this is ED80 and 1" Sensor on the QHY 183 gives you an idea on the effect a sensor has on a photo but this is 4 shot to get the same amount of area as the single shot on the ZWOASI071 MC pro. Close up of the Center of the Very large Nebula. Still not Drunk enough to see a chicken any where in this nebula but I can see a Lioness in profile. One of the extra rooms at my sons wedding could not resist sun touched water on the Fountain.

I put the ED 80 back on the mount but was not able to calibrate PHD2 which you need to do every time you change the load. I think it was a old cable that does not want to work any more properly so I went with it and just took what I could get. My new job two days a week looking after a school as a handyman/Gardener. lots of taps and things to fix up, I was in to turn off the mains water to fix a tap well before anybody else came to school. I came back to get some more tools and saw the Light on the Gum. I have lost count how many taps I have had to fix Handles ,Seals and Seats.

While I was editing the shot from last night I looked at the Shots and saw they joined the other Panorama well. While Ptgui was able to put it together I could not see the shot as it was 115898 x 73441 pix size not just big, huge. This is the 10th go at trying to get a shot that would save on the computer. In the end I hit on the idea of cutting the two down in size to below Half full size. This is a even further cut down of the shot that came out to get it on to Ipernity. This is 5 panoramas to get this length 42 panels or 21 long x 2 wide. I was able to get on top of Nina's Rotation as well as this is how the second half ( which is the right hand side) was taken. This put paid to the idea to get the rest of the milky way very late winter to finish out the left hand side. It will now never been done as my small computer cant handle the Huge files. Just editing this File size 31265x 5960 pix 2.75 GB a lot of the editing was 5 min each part. I am happy the way this has come out The head of the Emu and the body Show up very well as do the pointers and the Southern Cross. This Shot of the Milky way Bow gives you a good idea just what you are looking at a bit more than the whole left hand side of the Bow. The pole that is used to hang these is still on the last one ready for removal.

One of the few downsides to WA is the lack of rain and excess of dust. when we get very light showers (scotch mist) this only causes more problems of the water drops shorting out cause of the dust on the insulators. You only have to look at the roof of my garaged car to see the problem. First up was earth all the wires to the bottom of the Pole The next was remove the wires and cross piece Checking to see if the pole is sound inside In the shot you can see the burnt out hole in the pole Cut the damaged part off and recap the new top. Rebuild the whole thing and attach the wires. Remove all the earth wires and return on the wires In all it took about 2 hours from start till I had power in the house. One of the problems we face some of these fires have been much worse out on country farms All the more reason to think non wooden poles. We lost power for over 24 hours.

After the funeral yesterday for my brother in law and attending the wake at his house with all the family and friends. We come home to a home with no power at all our whole area is on a black out. In the cold light of the new day I have one laptop running on the battery used to run the mount and the internet from the phone. I have only a few photos on the phone so you get a grassy view. not at all happy with Ipernity on the phone I was not able to message any one . I was not able to open or get a message out yesterday that I would not be able to open HFF thank you to the person who had my back never been quite in a situation as this before. I have to deal with CWP but it 100% requires the desk top so It has to wait for the power to come back on by all accounts 8 PM tonight.

Mining trucks dont have a small Bridge Sadly the country sided is being eaten away for mining .The industry is Bauxite mining to make Aluminum. I have my niece over for a wedding and took them out to see the countryside around Perth.

This is half way to where I want to get there is another panorama of 12 shots to go. Each Panel is a night worth of shots then added to PtGui to get the panorama. The contrast between winter/Spring and end of summer nothing can swim in the area at all. Only birds about where waders walking on the mud with there big feet.

This gives you an idea of the complexity of try to shoot the milky way as a panorama. This is 12 panels from just above Carina to the pointers . the interesting thing is Nina has all those panels rotated to the same degree so only one rotation for the whole lot, we shall see. I will have to do another after that to get to the area the other one started in the fighting dragons area. Each panel will be a night shot and in this case as fast as I can as its clear.
