Agreed! But I never see the light-coloured ones in the shops. Decades ago I bought them by the carton from a roadside stall just out of Young when working round there.

Never seen them in shops either but brother in law get 120kg for the family in season.

So reminiscent of Christmas.

more than a few cherries went down that's for sure. we have been a bit quiet as we are still working setting up the yard and have worked in the shade.

I see the forecast is cloud but clear on the 31st so will try going out but moon to 9:30pm.
