The Gulf of Morbihan is a unique place where land and sea come together in changing landscapes; nature is omnipresent with a light mix of sea, marshes and moors. It is therefore not surprising that it is considered among the 'Most Beautiful Bays in the World', or that in October 2014 it became the '50th Regional Nature Park of France'.
The medieval setting of the town centre of the Vénètes testifies to its past as the first capital of the Dukes of Brittany.
