Such a gorgeous bird Ronald.............and captured very well on that nice looking perch!

I'm told that Cattle Egrets are coming to the UK to breed in increasing numbers, but are still quite rare. I've never seen one in the wild.

Ronald Losure club has replied to Keith Burton club
They only came to North America in the late 19th century. They are found almost everywhere in the southern hemisphere. Now they are quite common in my area. I suppose they will eventually decide that Britain is a good place, too.
I don't know how much longer that perch will survive. Major pieces of it fall off every year.
