WOW! How wonderful to see these magnificent birds in the air. I have watched 'our' pair during the past couple of weeks like this, but never had a chance to take a photo.

Photographing flying birds is difficult, isn't it? There is a pair of Cooper's hawks that I think may be nesting near here, but I haven't got anything better than a little blur of a photo. The dogs and I were just sitting by the pond when this hawk flew over. I always have my camera, but fortunately it was turned on, and I was alert.
