Forte di Exilles
Eine der gewaltigsten Festungen des Alpen steht auf einem Felssporn im Sustatal. Man geht davon aus, dass eine Wehranlage schon zu Römerzeiten hier gestanden hat. In seiner wechselvollen Geschichte wurde die Festung mehrere Male umgebaut. Ihren heutigen Zustand erhielt sie 1818-29.

Briancon hat mehrere Forts und dort ist auch der historische Ortskern als Militärtstädtchen ausgebaut. Wunderbare Gegend!
