Castel Beseno
Die größte Befestigungsanlage im Trentino liegt auf einem Felshügel bei Calliano. Die Burg hatte durch ihre massiven Mauern und durch ihr strategische Lage weitreichende Kontrolle über das Vallagarina-Tal. 1972 wurden die Übereste der Anlage der Provinz Trento übergeben. Das Land startete eine umfassende Renovierung und sie kann seit 32 Jahren wieder besichtigt werden.

Eine Festung aus Gold und Silber.... sehr schön, Falk!
Diese Route haben wir damals nicht genommen, sondern über die Route Napoléon wieder zurück in die Heimat gefahren. Zwei Jahre später haben wir dann Südtirol bereist (immer mit dem eigenen Bett an Bord ;-) )

Danke Uli. Manchmal fahre ich über Italien zurück nach Deutschland. Das nimmt sich kilometermäßig nicht viel bei mir.
