We have just released a GreaseMonkey plug-in, allowing
you to import your photos from Flickr.
Not only original photo is imported, but also:
- title and description
- private/public sharing option
- latitude and longitude
- the first 20 tags
- albums list (coming soon...)
Quick and easy. Here we go!
The comment to which the link refers to has been deleted. What about "Priority Customer Support" for Club Ipernity members? Is that a total myth?
This is getting old. And very frustrating.
Many thanks --- muchas gracias --- mille mercis!
Let me amend that: I've used the importer for Sets/Albums - and that works well - apart from a minor quirk that you have to run it TWICE - the first time to import photos (from flickr to ipernity), the second time to add them to the Album.
The individual photo importer also works - and has worked for a few weeks.
As far as importing everything, I'm not getting the ipernity importer dialogue box at the top of my flickr photostream (which I didn't, before) - and that indicates to me that the importer is at least up and more or less running, though I haven't run it yet.
Hope this helps.
Incidentally, you might consider the following: download Chrome (which is a fairly speedy and generally inoffensive browser) - and then just use it to do the importing (of your entire photostram, your albums/sets/groups, and/or any individual photos - and once that's done, then you never have to use Chrome again (if you don't want to). Just a thought....
Good luck!
Yes, we finally could correct the script for the album import to Flickr.
Be sure, to refresh or set up it back before using the API.
Cheers :-)
