On a nice sunny morning I headed for the beach,It was a hazy morning which had the advantage of hiding the triffids from view,I knew the tide was going out and wanted to show you the sand. when I reached pebble beach I battled my way through what is laughingly called a path, very coarse grass that gets higher and denser as the year moves on. The tide was indeed a long way out and still receding so I took a couple of snaps as I strolled along.Time to leave but not before I took a shot of the pebbles. Not very interesting you might think but they fascinate me. We have a wide range of different types of rock and pebbles here some from as far away as northern Scotland brought here in the last ice age and dumped on this little island. some rocks have even managed to find their way to these shores from more exotic places.
As I left and turned inland I noticed the gull were getting all worked up and unnecessary and soon discovered why A couple of crows were passing through their territory, the gulls too exception to this and gave them the hurry up.
Back home in time for lunch and another 2 miles in the legs and I am just waiting for one of the chicken and stuffing pies I bought yesterday to cook. Photos here
