When Margaret and me got together and set up house there were lots of changes. I don't mean the big differences but small things. I found the kitchen and bathroom products she bought totally different to what I grew up with, washing powder, cleaning products, soaps etc.On the food front things like sauces and and even brands of food products such as bread were all new to me.
The way she cooked was also something new,we would have more of somethings I was used to and less of others. None of this caused me a problem because of course I was madly in love with this woman and remained so until her death.
Gradually we got to know each others likes and dislikes so in the end we were like one in our eating habits etc. One thing I did discover as with my mother and every woman I ever met unless they had been in the military is that pressing a neat crease in trousers is a mystery they never master.Life was a great adventure with all it's highs and lows and that also continued until her death. We did OK.
