Italian singer, dancer, composer, producer, actor, movie director and comedian Adriano Celentano once lived on this street in Milan. "Il Ragazzo Della Via Cluck" (Celentano - Beretta - Del Prete) translated as "The Boy From Gluck Street" was issued in 1965. Adriano played a rock singer in Fellini's La Dole Vita.

Verdelle Smith's "Tar And Cement" (Vance - Pockriss - Celentano - Beretta - Prete) topped the Australian chart while peaking on Billboard's Top Forty at number thirty-eight in 1966 from the LP "Alone) In My Room". Lee Pockriss is conducting the orchestra. While near Detroit in the mid-sixties I remember this being aired frequently on Michigan radio stations.
