Billy Stewart's " I Do Love You" (Stewart), from the album of the same name, came out in 1965 and hit number six on the R&B chart and twenty-six on Billboard's Top One Hundred. Billy once backed Bo Diddley and often sang with Don Covay.

From the 1979 album "Disco Nights" this is GQ (Keith Crier, Herb Lane, Emanuel Leblanc, Paul Service and Kenny Banks) and the hit cover of "I Do Love You". The single peaked at number five on the R&B chart and number twenty pop. Sources indicated that "GQ" stood for "Good Quality".
