Germany's Angele Durand (Angela DeGeest) with the Bela Sanders Orchestra recorded "Du Du Du" (Olias - Rothenburg) in 1953. Angele toured with Maurice Chevalier, Josephine Baker and Edith Piaf.
You have to appreciate the harmonies of The Ames Brothers (Ed, Jo, Gene and Vic) on "You, You, You" Robert Mellin - Lotar Olias) when they released the tune later in 1953. Yes, that's Hugo Winterhalter's Orchestra and Chorus. The single was listed on Billboard for over thirty weeks peaking at number one. Ed was the youngest of the group and went on to have a successful solo career as a singer and an actor.
