one of george dance's pedestrian shelters of c.1760 from london bridge, built when the last of the houses were removed. two sit here, sheltering all manner of nastiness, whilst one went to guy's hospital for medical students to snog in.

c18 georgian stone royal arms from the gatehouse on old london bridge, reused on the king's arms pub of 1890. they are believed to have been set up c.1728 for george II, then re-cyphered in 1760 when removed to the pub, and kept when it was rebuilt in the c19. incorrect tinctures of course.

the carved stone arms from the georgian rebuild of the southwark gatehouse of the original london bridge, these were carved in 1728, bought by the pub owner in 1760, the year of george 3's coronation and so brought up to date before being added to the front of his pub where they remain.
