Another experiment with overexposing then developing by inspection

Pinhole paper negative from my Red Rooster Cam , Exposure 1 hour, 10 minutes.

First photo in a new flickr set for Pinhole Trees This was a 5 minute 20 second exposure in my Goat Rock Cam onto 5x7 paper. Goat Rock is a place on the Sonoma Coast, but also the name of a coffee sold by our local coffee company Taylor Maid Farms . The camera is made from a coffee can, is about f256, and has a field of view close to 90 degrees.

Overcast and gloomy today so I decided to try another really long pinhole trees exposure. This was 21 minutes, but did not end up with the odd almost split-toned effect from last time. Of course Mango enjoyed splashing around in Crane Creek...

Continuing the theme of oaks! This beautiful oak is at Sutter's Fort in Sacramento, California. It was brought all the way from John Sutter's birthplace in Kandern, Baden, Germany. The Native Sons and Native Daughters of the Golden West planted it here on July 19th, 1939. Taken with my Goat Rock Cam . It's on a 5x7 paper negative, and the fov is about 90 degrees so you're looking almost straight up near the top of this picture.

The deciduous oaks are starting to drop their leaves. 5x7 paper negative, 3 minute exp.

At Helen Putnam Regional Park The ripples are probably from Mango splashing around! Printed 25 Feb 2013. I am really enjoying printing this FP4+.

Made with my Goat Rock pinhole camera, a coffee can with a 5x7 paper negative. "L" Mango had fun splashing around in here!
