Also known as a Castor Oil plant. I spotted this in a garden in our road and the owner kindly gave me permission to chop a bit off to photograph indoors. Now I've photographed it the seeds will be saved for planting in our garden.

I had some Cow Parsley in my garden. It's now gone to seed so I decided to take off some of the seed heads for a photo. They're very small.......only about 5mm across.

We have several large maple trees on the council-owned land at the rear of our house and consequently we get lots of seeds blown into our garden. These must have been a recent "arrival" as they were in such good condition, so I brought them indoors to photograph.

I was collecting the seeds from my Nigella (Love in a Mist) seed heads this morning and it seemed like a good idea to photograph them as well.
Taken indoors in natural window light with a sheet of yellow card as a background.

These Sicilian Honey Garlic flowers have now gone to seed...........and I think they just as beautiful as when they were flowering.

Hemp Agrimony

I found this growing wild just the other side of my garden fence last September...........I don't remember seeing any flowers on it, but I did notice these seed heads, which looked really lovely in the sunshine. I'm pretty sure it's called Hemp Agrimony (Eupatorium cannabinum), which is a member of the Asteraceae family.
Unless you know any different..................?

These seed heads caught my eye because of the lovely light on them.
I have a large sycamore tree in my garden but the seeds heads are not this developed. This was taken in the Hilsea Lines, Portsmouth.
