Please view Large! The sight and sounds of 150000 gannets who nest on Bass Rock in peak season over the spring to autumn months. Is simply amazing!
The Bass Rock is an impressive island/rock on the North Berwick coast in the Firth of Forth, east Scotland. Sir David Attenborough has described the Gannet colony at Bass Rock as one of the 12 wildlife wonders of the world.
The Lighthouse is a 20-metre (66 ft) tall, built in 1902,It has been automated since 1988, When viewed large the ruins of St Baldred's Chapel, built on the site of St Baldred's hermitage can be seen (center of the rock),,,,,,,,, HWW!

Bass Rock sitting in the Firth of Forth is home to around 150,000 Gannets plus guillemot, razorbill, cormorant, puffin and the odd gull or two,
The Bass Rock Lighthouse is 46 meters high has a range of 10 nautical miles and was first lit in November 1902,
The remains of the chapel can be seen mid rock if viewed large,
