The light and shade of Glencoe and Achnambeithach Cottage, My take on this beautiful and much photographed area! The watercourse just visible to the right of the image is "Alt Coire nam Beitheach" HFF, and a nice weekend to all! ( large is better of course)

Glencoe!

The watercourse tumbling down into the valley is a bit of a tongue twister, "Allt Coire nam Beitheach" and it flows into the River Coe just out of shot on the right, this is captured at Achnambeithach Glencoe, Although it was mid-May and the sun was shining, snow still lingered at the top A large view is in my opinion necessary for details. Depending on how large you are able to view but sure-footed sheep are dotted all over the landscape even close to the top! Wish you all a great Friday and a nice weekend. Loch Achtriochtan & River Coe.

The River Coe rises at the north-eastern base of Buachaille Etive Beag in Scotland and flows west along Glen Coe. After dramatic waterfalls at the Pass of Glen Coe, it runs through the small Loch Achtriochtan before it turns north-west. It then runs past the site of the Massacre of Glencoe and passes through Glencoe village, shortly before flowing into the sea loch of Loch Leven, (Wikipedia) A large view may be enjoyable This is the glen in early summer so a link to Summer www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxIPVAPRBi4

River Coe leaves Loch Achtriochtan at Achnambeithach where the watercourse "Allt Coire nam Beitheach" tumbles down the gully and joins the river, all the high ground has cloud cover. Recommend a large view.
