Benches and Gulls with the old bridge at Berwick on Tweed as a backdrop,
This 15 span grade one listed structure was built between 1611 and 1624, it is 1,164ft (355 m) long, it is also a scheduled monument and built of red sandstone.
I prefer the image large,

Berwick upon Tweed is the most northerly town in England and during it's turbulent history control of the town has changed between England and Scotland at least thirteen times,

Berwick on Tweed, Looking towards the North Sea the nearest bridge is the "Royal Tweed Bridge" and the older bridge is "Bridge End".
