Long distance walkers on the West Highland way near the top of Glen Coe, (Large view may be required) The West Highland Way is a long-distance route in Scotland. It is 154 km long, running from Milngavie north of Glasgow to Fort William in the Scottish Highlands, It offers tremendous variety, beginning in the pastoral landscapes beneath the Campsies, past the serene beauty of Loch Lomond, and on into increasingly rugged and majestic Highlands. It then crosses the vast, awe-inspiring expanse of Rannoch Moor, down Glencoe, before crossing the hills to lovely Loch Leven. The route finally reaches Fort William via beautiful Glen Nevis.

Another autumnal image from the Lydeard Hill Ridge path, a great walk in a walk in any season.! HFF. Better large in my opinion Apologies for the delayed replies, our local area has been without internet since Friday pm.

A rest point along one of the trails at Greylake Nature Reserve on the Somerset Levels, This path was particularly good for butterflies, insects and small birds, HBM and a great week

Although the light may be intermittent ! Strong sunlight hits the lighthouse and the chimneys on the associated buildings. Mull of Galloway, Give a large view a try perhaps. HBM and a great week to you all.

A skyline shot into the evening sky over the Bristol Channel at Steart on the Somerset coast. In 16.9 format so a large view may be better. I may well continue to be an infrequent vistor to IP for a few more days but I will catch up soon as possible. HFF and a safe weekend to everyone

Soft January sun filters through the trees as it burns off the mist in Wind Down Wood, This is easily within the distance we can travel for exercise and at the right times is really quite, It would appear you cannot go out specifically to take photographs but it is ok during your exercise. Try it large please

I have no idea where the bread came from but one of our local Wood Pigeons appears to be treating it with suspicion or is it considering having a nibble.
