A few months ago I had to replace the main computer and have only recently got around to loading my images from the back up and that's when I realised how many unused images I had. I therefore intend to tidy them up and post some, probably every Monday, The first offering is a shot of Eilean Donan Castle from autumn 2017, The castle sits at the confluence of of three lochs, Loch Alsh, Loch Duice and Loch Long and was connected to mainland by a footbridge early in the 20th century. Large for the detail please.

Leaving Port & pip

13 Apr 2019 35 32 1020
The mooring vessel "MD Warden" leaves Kyle of Lochalsh on a flat and grey autumnal day, The Isle of Skye and the village of Kyleakin are in the background it's worth remembering that before the building of the Skye bridge this was the crossing point for the island ferries. Two ferries still serve the island, Mallaig to Armadale (Calmac) and the community owned Glenelg to Kyle Rhea which crosses the notorious Kylerhea Straights and is a highly recommended experience. skyeferry.co.uk Large view recommended,

I'll hold the beer.
