Built in 1723 by the architect Benjamin Holloway for the Duke of Chandos, it was then called Chandos Street and is a superb example of Georgian architecture. At 11 Castle Street is the Bridgwater Arts Centre which was the first Arts Centre in Great Britain, set up in 1946 with help from the Arts Council. Georgian houses on the north side of Castle Street, Bridgwater from a slide circa 2000?, was built in the 1720s and are now Grade 1 listed Buildings, A shot it is impossible to take today as parked vehicles continually block the view . The buildings are made of red and yellow Flemish-bond brick, with moulded stone coping to the parapet, and follow very similar lines. They form an important group, unusual for their scale and ambition outside London's West End. (Wikipedia), Awaiting the arrival of new hardware, So I am using older images from my Chromebook and just enough fence to qualify, hopefully.
