SC45 = Abstraction I took this using the shutter speed priority and vertical camera movement with a shutter speed of 0.25. This is a photo of one of our many bookcases, and it's just possible to recognize a clock at the bottom of the photo. Both Pips are taken in the kitchen, the first one has my purse and a packet of tissues on the top of the kitchen top, and the second one includes a magazine called 'The Oldie'.

Macro Monday: Show small things or animals (insects) in motion. This was quite a hard challenge. There are very few insects around now, but spiders aplenty. I was watching this garden spider repairing a web when a sudden gust of wind caused the spider to vibrate very quickly, but left most of the web relatively still as you can see. The PiP shows the same spider at rest. Many many rejected trials. :-)

THE SUNDAY CHALLENGE this week is: Blurred lines. Camera: Canon EOS 60D Exposure: 0.6 sec. This is actually reflections of a radiator caught in the circular base of a chrome bar stool. The 'orange' tinge is part of the quarry tile floor.

Your topic for this challenge will be intentional camera movement (ICM). Created by zooming out for 0.6 of a second. I think it might have been better to use a tripod and taken in the garden furniture 2 months ago! The first PiP is taken using a downward movement, the second is another 'explosion' photo of our Christmas tree, which has been put up early because we have house guests this weekend.
