SC162 - Post 31 August - Your best image in b/w I thought I had to make some effort this weekend. Very busy cutting down driedup plants in the garden. I have better B&W photos but they are a bit out of date. See below:

Snow Country

SC158 - Post 3 August - Literary inspiration Sweeping across Europe as it recovers from one war and awaits the coming of another. 'Snow Country' is a landmark novel of exquisite yearnings, dreams of youth and the sanctity of hope. Sebastian Faulks has produced an epic love story of timeless resonance. This is the second book in a planned Austrian trilogy. I have read he first book, 'Human Traces', and this one, but have not yet read the third.

Clematis 'Nelly Moser' after a night of rainfall. The first PiP is Geranium macrorrhizum which grows well in dry semi-shade. The second PiP is the withered leaves and flower of the Guernsey Lily, Nerine sarniensis.

Echoes

SSC: Macro in Black and White. The details of the little glass vase seem to echo the transparent skin of the garlic. There wasn't much processing done for this. I removed the colour, and some extraneous details. That's about it. This is the closest I could get with my lens. Echoes - Pink Floyd
