Or maybe not. I'd hate to lose the Connection. You'll just have to settle for Administrative duties. I think you should consider changing the banner; it's an interesting format to fit one of your pictures into.

I liked the bathers in the old banner. However, your identification of the fabric of Italo-Byzantine society appealed to my vanity, and so I substituted spots for bathers. After all, we are an abstract agglomeration following multiple diverse threads.

Recently I changed our banner to a sign reading 'Danger'. I can do this because (a) I have been promoted to administrator status, and (b) I know how to do it. The 'Danger' sign turned out to be prophetic, since over the last couple of days two of our number have upped and left, presumably finding us turgid and failing to provide stimulation. This trickle could turn into a torrent; we could be facing a haemorrhage of members. Therefore I have changed the banner again, to read 'Fragile'. Make no mistake comrades, we are in troubled waters. Keep in mind that most human beings have an almost infinite capacity for taking things for granted. Let us not take the great gift of Italo-Byzantine Acuity for granted.Avanti!

I've just caught up with this threat to the Acuity. I am flummoxed...
I plan to carry on as though nothing is happening, or until Monsieur Godot arrives to save us. I hope the broad tent of Italo-Byzantine Obscurity can be saved, or packed up and moved, but we shall see.Venceremos!
