Hi, fellow Sunday people.

Just letting you know that I have temporarily withdrawn from Admin activities, due to eye issues.

I had a date scheduled 1 July for right eye cataract surgery, but had to defer to 11 August, as we came back from our cruise with a cold/flu virus, which we are just about over now, thank goodness.

Meanwhile many thanks to Luc, for holding the fort, and Esther, for helping with topic ideas.

Vision very, very important. Had mine done a couple of years ago. Be very careful after surgery; my vision is amazing now.

12 August 2025 Eye cataract surgery went well. Taking a break for a few days.

Thanks Gudrun. Plenty of eye drops for 21 days... Vision has definitely improved, but I will still need to wear glasses, due to cornea issues.

9 September, almost a month since my right eye op. Still somewhat blurry, and some discomfort. Current glasses don't work very well.
Should be better after second op, end of September, when I can have new specs.

Curious they take so long in between the two eyes, in my case just one week in order to avoid discomfort you are experiencing.

Hi Isabel, we needed to wait and see how the cornea recovered, as I have corneal - Fuchs dystrophy in both eyes. Fortunately, things are going well.

I had the second left eye op yesterday, 29 September.

Vision in my left eye is good, but a bit foggy, which should clear up with the eye drops, over the next three weeks
