Isabel's yellow
The term "absolute abstract" can be understood in two main contexts: philosophical and artistic. In philosophy, it refers to a concept or idea that exists purely in thought, without any physical or concrete manifestation, yet is considered complete and perfect within its own realm.
In art, particularly in the context of the abstract movement, it signifies a style of painting or sculpture that moves away from representational imagery to focus on pure form, color, and line.
It can also refer to the purest form of abstract art, where the work is completely detached from any reference to the external world.
In essence, "absolute abstract" in the philosophical sense implies a perfect, self-contained concept, while in art, it suggests a complete departure from representational imagery in favor of pure abstraction.
Therefore I asked myself if klein’s blue can be considered an absolute abstract, particularly in the context of his monochrome paintings. Klein used a specific shade of blue to represent the immaterial, the void, and the infinite. His use of a single, vibrant color, devoid of representational imagery, aimed to liberate the viewer's mind and evoke a sense of the boundless.
Not being a copy-cat I decided to show you Isabel’s yellow (don’t laugh) crossed by some vertical and horizontal limits maybe representing our own brain’s limitations…
And well, why not give a try to some Kandinsky inspiration but in a humble minimalistic interpretation, I called it
"Void's attraction"

Xata club has replied to PhLB - Luc Boonen clubI see we don’t have the same look at the concept of abstraction, not an easy definition, hey !
I like the PiPs as well.
A fascinating narrative too..............I don't claim to understand it all, but I think I get the gist.
