Horse Chestnut in full leaf

A lot of the horse-chestnut trees down here have been affected the last few years by horse chestnut leaf blotch which is an infection of the leaves by the fungus Phyllosticta paviae. They're OK at the moment, as the attacks normally take place in the summer. The leaves get covered in brown patches and the tree generally looks very sorry for itself.
