Der alte historische Kran war baufällig und wurde abgerissen. Dieser hier wurde dem Lüneburger Holztretkran nachempfunden, allerdings ohne die innere Mechanik.

Stimmt, historisch ist er nicht gerade (um die 50 Jahre glaube ich), ich meinte mehr die Symbolik. Ich fand die Innenbesichtigung auch interessant, mit der Ausstellung von Bildern und Fotos der 1000-jährigen Hafengeschichte.
