I hope that washing is safe on the fence. If it falls off into rail tracks it's going to get so dirty again.

Interesting image Diana. The dust will already be on the fence. Having worked along railways all close structures are dirty, dust from the ground, oily stuff sometimes from diesel exhausts, dust from brake blocks, sometimes grain dust and coal dust, are there non-retention toilets on passenger trains, etc etc...
