Somewhere out there

Somewhere out there
Taken at a friend's rural property, in drought at present. Despite appearances the rain still is 'somewhere out there'. Also a couple of the relatively tame local wallabies. Stitched panorama, best viewed large.

This is looking northward through the area where the Clarke bushrangers based themselves, back in the 1860s, when they too were 'somewhere out there' and the Special Constables were looking for them.

Explored.

An excellent rural shot and good information George. It's either not enough or too much rain these days!

George, this picture is just TERRRRIFIC!! Truly, it would look perfect as a mural in a gallery. It's beautiful, majestic, and breathtaking. Super lighting and details too. As you mentioned, this is a best appreciated large. It's just WOW!! :)

You wondered what teasel is...it is a thorny plant which is also an incredible photography subject. Take a look at the top 15-20 images in this search and you will see what I'm talking about...teasel is a fabulous subject to explore through the lens of a camera, both macro and at a distance: www.ipernity.com/search/photo?w=290645&q=teasel

Superb viewed large - a majestic 'scape!
I presume the wallabies are less than energetic on account of the rain shortfall.

These are near my friend's house and the drought may well have something to do with it - they get some food wastage, such as stale bread.

Fabulous panorama, viewing large is a must! I guess the wallabies would also prefer some rain and green grass:-)
