The green giant

The green giant
Well, it was about 80mm long! I'm fairly sure it is the caterpillar stage of a Hawk Moth, found from China through SE Asia and India down to southern Australia.
Musical link here. Try viewing it large.

A remarkable caterpillar very well photographed. A clever link the music and a superb performance. Thank you for posting to 'Soundtrack to Life', George.

Thank you all for your kind comments and faves on this image. Our garden was safe, it was munching on a vine running along the fence - and about to pupate for the winter.
