Contribution for The Sunday Challenge #468: get down low

I decided to make a retake. In 2012 I had just bought a 12 mm LensBaby fisheye lens for my old FourThird Olympus DSLR. Unfortunately it worked there merely as a 24 mm equivalent wide angle lens with no barrel correction. You find the 2012 version on PiP notes and links below.

Now the 16 mm equivalent lens on my phone camera has also an option to disable the digital barrel correction. And it then gives much wider angle.

Additional shots:

Mirror used to view the camera display
Camera below knee level, but pointing downwards

Well hi there!
Looks like they actually made the screen more readable?
Did people stare at your setup? Smart idea.
I like this years better, maybe because the expanded view brings more interest to the top of the photo.

Thank you, Laura =)

Yes, the new version is what I originally wanted to get. The new LED screens allow showing what ever one wants to show. But I kind of miss those old mechanical "split-flap" displays:

I like all of the shots, Sami, particular;y the discarded masks. Did you place them or had they just been carelessly left? Like the phone set up too BTW.

Thank you, Amelia. I absolutely don't stage images like this. I hate trashing.

And this is not even bad yet =(

My faves for your selfie and the masks trash, even if like Amelia says you might have placed them for the photo, it is the new pollution, we find them everywhere...

Obrigado, Isabel. I would never stage a view like this. Unfortunately that is the reality today.

Well, you could have done it to alert people about this unfortunately current situation... sorry....

There is so much of it around, that it sometimes feels like it is more difficult to avoid seeing them tossed on the streets.

I have only sometimes done the opposite, and removed something like a cigarette but, either before taking the shot, or afterwards digitally.

Maybe these mask could be my next 50 images project... SO, thanks for the potential project idea ;-)

Your new lens covers a lot more than in 2012.
Many subtle changes in the hall of the station, the most visible is in the screen of the trains. However, are the train services better or worse than 9 years ago?
Sami Serola (inactiv… club has replied to Diederik Santema club
Thank you, Diederik.

The trains are faster today. And there has even some new connections built and opened.

But every year the snow and cold weather still causes problems. And also something always causing delays also in the summer.

So, something better and something worse. And some things as bad as it has always been.

I also find the PiP on the far left very successful. :))
Your choice of perspective shows creativity. :)

The devastating consequences of improper disposal of disposable Corona face masks for the environment and future generation are an indescribable disaster. As if it weren't bad enough that future generations will have to pay for the economic consequences of repeated lockdowns. What are we doing to our descendants?! Selfless love, prudence and wisdom go differently. :((

Anyway, have a great day and stay well, Sami.
