It must be God's face. :-) Oh, organs are so funky! I wonder if the biggest pipes at the front are made by some LVI / HVAC companies, because typically they make no sound. Besides organs are partly digital now, so maybe there are some coolants travelling in them. :-)

Thanks a lot for the info, Sami. It is interesting that organist Kiviniemi was not let into the church until now. I wouldn't wonder if it was something to do with him organizing the Lapua organ festival – which would mean it was this good old red-white thing still.

Speaking of which, there is this story about Vilppula church organs getting hit in the third battle of Vilppula in 1918. The shooting subsided when the dark fell in the evening, but the damaged organ kept playing this eerie, very low bass note all by itself in the dark chuch. It could be heard all around the town, and the soldiers thought it was ghostly and got truly scared.
