#08 A summer drink
It is June! So, officially summer must have started! In Finnish June is "kesäkuu", and direct translation of it into English is "summer month". And yes, in Finnish the names of months and week days starts with small alphabets.
I was going to enjoy some cold brew coffee, which has recently become popular around here. But the lakeside cafe I visited, had ran out of it. Instead I tasted Kombucha for the first time in my life. Or at least I think I have never had it before. It was some strawberry basil flavor, and I must say it is one of the best summer drinks I have ever had! Very refreshing experience. Better than any ice tea.
And it was not that strong as the picture may insinuate! =D

Sami Serola (inactiv… club has replied to Wierd Folkersma clubPlan A would require a trip to Helsinki or some other place. Can't find any around here in Tampere region =/

www.autumnberryinspired.com/about-autumn-berry/history
So, the plant "autumn olive" has became called as "autumn berry" to make it more attractive! =D
But because it turned out as a very rare around here, I think I will now try to find a sea-buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides) instead, and even wait until autumn to get some actual berries photographed as well.
And here's some more about autumn olive/berry in North America... plants.sc.egov.usda.gov/core/profile?symbol=ELUM
Have a great new week.
