Here the summer was hot and dry, and therefore finding mushroom in the downtown parks was almost impossible. But in the forest there are almost always something to find.

Yes, it is pretty good with that camera. CAnon G5 X may have done better, but this Lumix focuses much closer. But the same can be applied to both of these cameras. Best magnification can be achieved around 50 mm equivalent focal length.
